Emergency Coordination Zone 3 – South King County was created from a merger of Fire Zones 3 and 4 in July 2002. This includes the communities of Algona, Auburn, Black Diamond, Burien, Covington, Des Moines, Enumclaw, Federal Way, Kent, Maple Valley, Milton, Muckleshoot Tribal Nation, Normandy Park, Pacific, Renton, SeaTac, Tukwila and Vashon Island.

NOTE: These boundaries are not accurate. A better map (but of Fire Zone 3) can be downloaded from  www.kingcounty.gov/operations/GIS/Maps/VMC/PubSafety.aspx. Look on there for the green boundary for Response Zone 3.

We would like to find or create a more accurate map specifically useful for emergency managers of Emergency Response Zone 3.
